Wow! Interesting color combo on a Turbo cab.

Someone on Rennlist posted these, Nordic Gold Metallic and Magnolia interior.

I think I know the pics that Robert is referring to. It's a Nordic Gold and Magnolia TT with a custom Magnolia top (i.e., the top was not done by Porsche but is aftermarket). You either love it or it makes you want to vomit. I'm still undecided as to which reaction I'm having.

To my understanding, the guy that ordered it did not like how the interior wound up. I don't think I blame him. So he left it with the dealer and the dealer unloaded it to a 6Speeder. I think the Nordic Gold is kinda hot, in a way. It just that interior. Perhaps a linen, black or natural brown interior would have been better. I don't know. It's just not right somehow.

Notice also how Porsche can't match the speaker panels and the center of the steering wheel with the special interior color so they made them black. That just totally ruins whatever look they were going for IMO.

BTW, African Queen Metallic with Black interior. Somewhat more subtle.

African queen metallic reminds me of the designo yellow I saw a couple of years ago on the SL55. Magnolia would look terrific with a sea blue upper dash and midnight blue exterior colour.

Thanks for posting the pics Steve. I don't know why the pics don't show, they come up on my screen. Anyways, the strange thing is the speaker grills were left black. 2-tone with black on the upper dash and doors would be one thing but just the speaker grills?!?!

Yeah that steering wheel and speaker covers ruin it. It if it was a real two tone it would definitely look a lot better.

I would think a good leather shop would be able to fabricate something for the steering wheel center to match the rest.
Overall, not my taste but it looks like it fits in well with a tropical environment.
