I hit the 345km/h ( indicated so actual maybe 330 km/h if im lucky ) in the blue RUF conversion with 530 horses... but i tell you the the SL/SLK55 should go past 300km/h easy, bearing in mind that the outside air temp is a big role, if its too hot you wont make it (welcome to kuwait)

Speed test SL55 completely open:
Hochleistungsreifen sind bis zu 360km/h zugelassen.
Gibt aber, glaube ich, nur wenige.
Der SL55 kann ja auch "ganz offen" erworben werden, soweit ich weiß, halt auf eigene Gefahr, sprich Garantie fällt glaube ich weg.
Dann rennt der SL55 nach AMS-Test in Nardo 325km/h.

It says the SL55 hit 325km/h, so all depends on tyres, outside conditins, etc...you definetly have the right car for that speed

 

I did 290kmh on a warm day, rpm was around 5,500ish slightly incline road towards Kuwait-Saudi border.

I just passed 250kmh to see if I had the vmax, as my car has the Kleemann upgrades( no supercharger or camshafts) just wanted to see if it passes the speed governer

 

290km/h on a warm day will definetly bring you past 300km/h bearing in mind the humidity over there... i always thought to myself why do they make those 500+ BHP cars and limit them to 250km/h... doesnt make sense

they should limit it at 120, 250 is still speeding its either speeding or not so delimiting is the way

 

well what can i say ur right... u buy a 200000$ car and are overtaken by a SMART car... let me think about it...... NOPE ;-)
