My buddy is on the hunt for one, and the carfax shows no service history.

Can you guys check and see if this car has been serviced properly by the dealer?

With BMW you can get a DCS report, I never tried to get one when I had the Turbo or the GT2, so I don't know what the equivalent would be.

That car looks to be pretty clean but there is dead pixels on the Heating/Cooling Controller. That readout should say "Hl"

 

He means the sales guys here who can run the VIN against the Porsche service records.

 

I might have to start PM'ing.

I just found out that BMW doesn't give out DCS reports any more... so maybe it's a bigger deal now with all car companies than before.

 

It was in at Champion eight times for warranty work.

 

aside from warranty work; we cannot see the actual 'services' performed. Maybe the Service Writer at Champion would give you a print out of what's been 'done' on the car.

 

Sunset Porsche can provide you with a VIN report on the car if that helps for free.

^^^ thats the same report all dealers can do. Like the website states, WE cannot do a 'service' history report. Only warranty campaigns, color, options etc.

Contact the dealer that serviced it the most.

 

Nice example of the last of the 996 TTs cars. Low enough mileage to be clean, high enough to know it was driven. Shitty shifter though, can't believe they cheaped out on that one, but easily upgradable.
