Certainly not when what they have is a pretty nice-looking Turbo. What circles are you running in where having a Porsche Turbo isn't enough?

There are plenty of poseurs like him in LA.

Lots of tip Turbo with sunroof and GT2 bodykit with the GT2 emblem.

It was particularly funny one time when we were driving in our GT2 and saw a silver one with a GT2 emblem.

And then at a stop light in front of us, we were like, WTF, why is the car creeping forward with the brakes on? And wait, is that the wind deflector for the sunroof? And WTF? Rear wiper?

I think the owner noticed we were giggling at his poseurism and took off like a bat out of hell when the light turned green.

I'm almost ashamed to say it ... it's hardly believable, but it's in real life!!!!!! In person, without screens or keyboards! Crazy, uh?

I just ride with the dude every so often. Big showoff, poseur, I "know him" but we're not friends friends.
I can tell him there's an angry blonde metrosexual in Stockholm huffing and puffing at him, if you want. That'll show him.

In his defense, it's daddy's car ... at least he doesn't pass it as his. Maybe daddy told him it's a GT2 and he's not savvy enough to know a GT2 doesn't have a tip, PSM or sunroof. Heck if my dad told me the earth was flat I'd believe him.

Never knew about GT2s not having rear wipers, I know they're not recommended to be driven in the wet, but what do you do when u get stuck in the rain?

You don't need rear wipers. I drove the GT2 in the rain all the time. The interesting thing you get to see is if the rain is cold, and you are in stop and go traffic, you can see steam coming out of the vents near the crest on the hood.

Yup! But I'm not giving you any info. I heard that poseur-mobiles damage camera sensors. That thing will rip your camera to bits.

You must have been way too busy laughing since you let him get away like a bat out of hell.

This is true (the rear wiper part) as I've never even used my rear wiper, and the car is used pretty constantly as a summer daily. Hellz, I don't even think I know how to switch that rear blade on. One of these days I'll have to do a wiper delete......
