EIBACH SPRINGS... GOOD OR BAD FOR 996tt?
#2
Having done springs, and then eventually switching over to coilovers, I would avoid the springs. The labor for the springs, plus realignment is not worth it.
It essentially gives you a car with no suspension. Spend the extra dough and get a proper adustable setup. You can usually find a used set.

Had Eibachs on my 993 mounted with the stock shocks. After awhile the rear end was lower than the front, and replaced all with PSS9's. Not sure if the heavier TT would have a similar problem.
The Eibachs actually rode pretty well, and many PCA instructors commented on how balanced the car felt.

ya, because they are just springs. You can't deny that Eibach makes a good product.
Springs and shocks upgrades are fine for the majority of people......the "others" need/want the adjustability of a true coilover set where you can fine tune the setup. I'm of the later, but I also have ridden on many "spring/shock" combos on a VARIETY of automobiles that would please the general gear head
