does this have the 800 package? the top of the video states "rare flat blue 800hp porsche 997 drag racing". what was the 60 ft time? i couldn't make out the time slip. is this a tiptronic car? great looking car though.

It's Dan's car. It's a 6 speed.

He dynoed 756 whp on a Mustang, running on GT3076s.

On a 11.17 run, his 60 foot was 1.76, trap 129 in 80F weather. His best trap was 134.

7.14 second 60-130 during the quarter mile...not a dedicated 60-130 run.

i agree. something doesn't add up. a 1.76 s a is decent 60 ft time. i was expecting the car to be quicker than that with 756 whp.

very nice video, thanks for sharing. But I have to agree the time is not impressive for claimed hp. TPC's was running with reduced boost and 628WHP on a Dynojet and ran in the mid to low 10s.

Differences in DA/temp and the fact that the G-red TT was obviously a Tip could account for a lot. The Vivid car was likely running in high 80-low 90 degree temps as it only just started to get cooler here in the evenings.

Better data will come from the Texas mile, but the Vorsteiner wing is going to hurt him.
