It needs to sound good, not loud...

 

Hands down the GMG racing WCGT race exhaust... Heard it recently on a 997tt that went by me in NY, at first I thought it was a GT3 , had a higher pitch GT3'esque sound, amazing!

Words don't describe how it sounds in person and while driving on the street!

 

I would say that BBI Autosport make the best sounding exhaust, you can check their site from the sponsors list on the right hand side of the page.
Here is list of 3 videos that can give you a slight idea on how it sounds. Bare in mind that the car in the videos is modified with an Evolution Motorsports GT700R Pakage. Not sure what efect that has on the outcome of the final exhaust note/sound.

His exhaust is sick as hell too, but his turbo setup/lwfw/tuning and so on also add to it's sound! That GMG is on a stock car so to speak!

 

If you are just trying to "piss off your neigthbors loud" them go the straight pipe route.

 

I might say BBI, All hand built here in Socal in our shop in Huntington beach. We get some of the tubes and muffler body's laser cut and the flanges water-jet, aside form that we even pack the mufflers by hand to suit the customs individual needs.

But im biased because Shane and myself (Betim) build them here, LOL

They sound awesome and produce great HP numbers.

By building the mufflers here in house we are able to get the sound levels down while still giving you that (i just got goose bumps) exhaust note.
