Those intercoolers are huuugggeee....

I am supposing you need them big to flow the air which you are pumping - what are your thoughts on the actual temperature dropping capabilities ? Are they most suitable for short bursts (dragging and the like) and do you think they are cooling via their "heat sinkability" or is the heat actually being fully removed - I realise that is a hard one to answer but value your thoughts ?

 

I have the 4.5 inch cores as well just in case... I will datalogg both to see if heat soak gets the 6 inch ones... I had the 4.5s before and they did the job... Robmd just did 1100 rwhp with my 4.5 ICs...
So we see.. Other tuners have done 6 inch ICs... this is not new...

Very nice work thus far. Are you doing your own fab work on the with Ti? Assuming you are using Ti rather than stainless.

I was happy... same turbos just a different hot side.... V banded... new headers and ICs.. some other plumbing....
just making minor upgrades....
not worried about HP.. its there... I just need to run some fast 1/4s times now.,. and that is tricky....
