The new DFI engine will not be able to take this sort of punishment even with the Switzer "low torque onset" approach.....

Different tune, different approach, probably ... but there's no reason to believe the cars will be less able to handle these power levels.

mmmmm...... engine developed and honed through racing v engine built to a price for emissions..... we''ll see, my info is that Porsche engineers are struggling to make the DFI lump reliable (for the GT2) at 550hp !

By the way, which car is yours? The GTR or the 997? Is the 997 a tip? I cant imagen how fast the SPI750 would be on the new turbo with PDK, you have to upgrade!
This makes me wanna contact Switzer and put that kit on our tt, damn!

I have seen the videos and have even translated the p800 thread on dragtimes, as much as I could understand at least , truly amazing things that gtr has done, can't wait to see what it does in better weather as well!
Also, the video you have of GTR 1/4 mile testing were it runs the 10.4 up the hill, it chirps the tires in first and second gear! Not to mention the cool fireball it blows out at the top of the hill haha....

Hahah Mike, I know I know, just wanted to see what your other countrymen have said about the beast as well!
I was doing some timing on that latest GTR vs busa video, the p800 did 0-200mph(320kmh) in roughly 27 seconds!
