New Turbo on the Porsche Configurator

Just wanted to give you guys a heads-up... The new Turbo is on the Porsche Configurator. Building mine as we speak!

pimped mine all the way and ended up at $152K. Never was able to build the Pany for less than $160K.

The Panny is too expensive, honestly like nearly 200k over here for a loaded one thats too much.

Built mine the other day when it went live.

Turbo Cab, not over the top, but 178k????? That was with ceramics.

Scaled it back, deleted ceramics, changed some things, 162k. Still stupid.

Some ridiculous omissions:
To get leather door trim surround (where window switches reside) you have to get the $2100 leather package, which also includes leather SLATS in your vents, among other goodies. No way to get it from the order page otherwise.

Steering wheel options are very limited, seems like they left one or two out, unless they are all thicker wheels.

Oh well, still searching for an '09......

What's really dumb on Porsche's part is they went to the 9A1 block from the GT1, saving a supposed $20,000 per engine, yet the base price and all the options went UP significantly. If they'd just drop the damn price 10k I think they'd have a winner for sure.

Got to find an '09......got to find an '09......
