It was my 2nd go around in a GT: It was a monster!!!!!! The acceleration was just smashing. I felt the clutch pedal to be moderate, the take-up point was perfect and much easier for me to adjust to than it was for him to find the same point on the TT. The steering was quick, but not over-booster at all. The brakes were super for the street, but i have no clue how they work on a track.

Seats were "o.k.", shifter was easy to use, entry / egress was hideous ( hit my head on the door again ). Vision from the drivers seat is only adequate in the forward direction.

VERDICT: 997 TT ZERO camera phone pics in 20 miles.
Ford GT no fewer than 8 pics during our drive.

If i had an extra $150k lying around, I might consider one.

Nice!! But man, my buddies and I each put more than that on in our first week of ownership!!! Tell him to get out and enjoy the ride!!! I'm subscribed for more pics!!!

Chris, I dunno, those Sparco seats are pretty exact for my body type. I'm less tired driving the GT for 6 - 8 hours than I am in the 911 TT........ Or maybe it's just the adrenaline rush that keeps me going.....

As I was getting out, the owner said "watch your head". I was like, "yeah, yeah". BAM. That door is a menace!
Haha, BAM, new passenger, EVERY time!!! Even AFTER the warnings. We refer to it as being "Gurney'd" as in Dan Gurney who couldn't fit into the car without hitting his head (hence the Gurney Bubble on the original GT40's.)
