I am absolutely in love with this car. Exterior, interior, performance, specs - everything. Competition in supercars lower segment becoming even more interesting with every new launch. Cannot wait to see how this car will stand against LP560-4 and upcoming 458 Italia.

Thus marks the end of the GT1 era. Me thinks the 996tt and 997.1tt will be a little more sought after in the future for the modders and trackers.

Impressive - improved power, improved efficiency, less weight, less emissions. (and I assume less cost than the GT1 for Porsche to build)

Is it as strong as the GT1? Will it be a car to flip when the warranty nears expiration?

Are you modder types excited or dismayed?

I wish the paddles were mounted on the column and not the steering wheel itself personally

Neat.

But, no one else is just a bit sad about the end of the line of the venerable m64 GT1 block 3.6 flat six?

Is the new 3.8L engine in the 997TT MkII a true dry sump or the pseudo-dry sump in the C2S?
