Hi, Murat - some people have been asking me about this post, so I'll try to answer it.

1st, I have no idea whether or not the SP 750 Mike is taking out there has a support vehicle. However, this is a customer car, not a company car built by Switzer. We just put the kit in a box and shipped the box. Standard L4 PKG. Nothing secret or super-special. Anyone on TS can buy this kit for $17995.

I do know that it is not running full race fuel because we haven't tuned it for that. It might be on a light mix, maybe 50/50, but not more.

2nd, Switzer is a relatively young company specializing in turbo Porsches. You probably won't see built Audis, VWs, BMW diesels, etc. coming from Switzer for some time. As for Evotech being "in the same class faster than Switzer". a: this isn't racing. There are no "classes" here. Street is street. Put up or shut up, you know? b: obviously the statement that Evotech's cars are always faster is not true, or else video of Switzer's car beating Evotech's wouldn't exist. For sure Evotech wins some and loses some. Evotech builds some amazing cars, obviously, but they are not Porsche specialists - that is a difference, but I am not so sure that difference is necessarily a benefit.

3rd, if you don't like discussions, why are you discussing this?

I don't think I need to address the "German quality v. American copy", do I? Come on, Murat, you're just TRYING to start something here! Evotech is a great tuner, no one has ever said otherwise - if Evotech wasn't one of the best, there would be no reason to be happy about one of our cars beating one of theirs! Just like there is a video of a built Lingenfelter 'Vette beating one of our GTRs that we're posting all kinds of places - that Vette is FAST!! That our GTR, which is much heavier and makes less whp on the dyno, is as close as it is ... man! That's exciting, even if it is losing! I hope Oliver reads this, since he understands, I think, how much respect we have for him. Mike will be getting his P800 kit (L5) soon, and I think Evotech is getting something ready for the next races as well - competition improves the breed!!!

Actually I am not really sure which tuner is faster (whichever, I respect both), because the only videos we've been seeing is one or two stages 'stronger' switzer car. That makes it apples vs oranges. I just shared what I've been told here, that evotech vs switzer (with the same stage upgrades) evotech won.

EVOTECH car was over more 1 sec slower then SPI car in 25 JULY and had over more the 12km less TOP SPEED at the end on 1 miles RUN...

Organizer event put us in 1/4 final with Ford GT...and we beat it and then beat EVOTECH 997 TT...couple of times...

All car runned on same RACE GAS...

ALSO...all the races done with EVOTECH...both cars runned on RACE...

Will tell you more...that Swizter car runned even FASTER on PUMP the EVOTECH on RACE gas...there is even as video...

We did 0-100 in 3.1 and 0-200 in 10 sec.... Evotech car 0-100 in 3.4 and 0-200 in 10.4 on race gas...

I will tell you more, if you wanna hear...WHITE 997 TT here which has all same mods as SPI 750 was slightly faster then RS6...and Black car that was done here was faster then the one went to GERMANY for all upgrades and even GT2 turbos and was tuned there...and runned worse then same car with less mods...

Also EVOTECH DRAGTIMES record here is 11.05 and SPI 750 is still RECORD HOLDER with 10.4 run...

I am not even talking about prices of those kits and end results...

That's exactly my point: what is this "stage" BS? This isn't Gran Turismo on Play Station - there is no universal "stage 3" or whatever. That's not a Porsche thing, a Switzer thing, or anything, it's just the way it is.

Example: if someone says an ECU flash is "stage 1", and someone ELSE says a different flash PLUS an exhaust is "stage 1", that is apples and oranges, also. Just saying "stage 1" and "stage 1" doesn't make them comparable products.

Besides that, not all software is created equal - neither are all exhausts equal, all cats equal, all turbos equal, etc. It's a PACKAGE that works - a system of upgrades that come together to make usable power on a given day, at a given time, with a given driver.
