Quick 997 Turbo brief needed....

The thought of adding a 550hp ruf massage/coilovers/wheels makes it very tempting....looks like there is no significant diff between the years, so a well bought low miler leaves room for some tasty mods.
One fly in the ointment...she insists on a tip....
I prefer a manual, but doesn't look like you give up anything in performance with a tip so while less engaging, I can live with it.
Going to keep the S65, its way too much fun mashing the pedal on that one.

The PDK tranny is suppose to be fantastic! One auto porsche for your wife sounds like a wife tax for all the other cars!
A friends father just test drove a porsche with the PDK tranny and can't stop talking about it.

A few of the upgrades are nice, Ipod interface, Bluetooth, ventilated seats, etc. PDK is not available as the older design single block engine was kept in the Turbo and GT3 for homolgimation to racing. Same reason they do not have DFI either.

Yup, sometimes the small stuff makes a big difference on a DD. I'm aware no pdk yet. thanks for the info

spot on with the "wife tax" idea...thats sort of the way I look at it

So they ARE keeping the M64 and not going with the fake dry sump A91?
