How Much Do The Factory Turbo Wheels Weigh???

im thinking of switching wheels and curious how much the factory 18x11 rears and 18x9 fronts weigh... anybody?

Depends on which ones you want. Specs are as follow...

Factory 996 Turbo Hollows
8x18" at 22 lbs 2oz
11x18" at 26 lbs 5 oz

Factory 996 Turbo Solids
8x18" at 26 lbs 2 oz
11x18" at 31 lbs 6 oz

Factory GT2 wheels uses Turbo solids in wider spec:
8.5x18" at 28lbs 11 oz
12x18" at 33 lbs 0 oz

colby is correct... unless you have an early 01 your car has hollow spokes.

Your oem wheels arent bad but you can do better, take a look at Hre's c20's those are pretty light weight.

im thinking about the champion motorsport RS97... i hear they weigh 19 pounds.. that means im shaving about 35 pounds just by changing wheels. whats your thoughts?

They will look deadly on your silver car, go for them without doubting.

IMO, the HRE C21 Cups are without a doubt the sickest wheels out there. Designed for GMG's Cup car, they are super light and super strong, not to mention they look amazing!

though im not a fan of mesh style wheels.. MUCH prefer a five star design.
