Another road trip
This time we took the 911 turbos. Our original plan was to go to Kelowna to visit with BigBadBen and his badass car, but due to some minor difficulties, Ben and his lovely girlfriend joined us across the border in Washington so we could avoid the long weekend traffic North of the 49th. We tried, unsuccessfully to get together with Tunerworks Rob also. He may have had an issue trying to cross the border in a "borrowed" CGT Now admittedly, it would have been more fun had Ben, Zippy and Rob ALL been there with their toys, however, we still managed to have a LOT of fun in the twisties, and enjoyed a few quick runs down to Mexico too!!!

Yeah Pro, Michelle and I had a great time. It was great to finally meet you all. Sabering bubbly, great eats, great conversation and general goofing around, what more could you want....except Mike being there with his car and mine finally able to join the festivities at some point in the near future. Next time my friend, really looking forward to that
Cheers bro

Superfly, you always go on the coolest roadtrips! Sounds like you guys had a good time. In the pics with the old log buildings in the background that say "Ye Olde Molson", is that referring to the beer company by chance?

Ye Olde Molson is actually now a ghost town in Washington (just South of the Border). It was a mining town originally, but is now pretty much deserted (well, the original town is anyway). Nicely preserved as a tourist attraction. Molson brewing was founded in 1780 or something, so it's not the same founder, but the signs said that it was co-founded by a descendant of the Molson brewing family, so there is that connection. And it made for a cool pic.

Oh guys, I am so sorry to have missed the fun south of the border.
The ride needed a bit of work (see pic) and the familly wasn't thrilled about me missing the big Saturday night BBQ feast at the lake. I will be out out in K-town at least four more times this summer so hopefully we can all meet up for a drive and bite to eat.
