Well, after going through this nutty process for a few weeks now, I'm starting to narrow things just a bit. But then I wake up and realize maybe I should rethink it! Shit! I've only shared this with a couple of you, so a few already know what I'm doing....
I know all the pros/cons about Black, and I hesitate, but I'm likin' the looks of a BLACK COUPE now.
Here is were I started:
Always a Guards Red/Beige Cab guy. Had two so far. Ready for a change, I think. Less bling, more zip. Still think I want a cab, but MIGHT look at a coupe. Something about the lines on a Black Coupe that just grab me. And the quirky lines of the 997 lessen on Black.....
So my start was GT Silver/Black or GT Silver/Nat Grey, lots of leather, leather console, thicker sport wheel, ceramics, sport chrono, heated/crested adaptives, 6speed, on and on.
Then I found a Black/Black cab, and one Black/Black coupe, and in pictures, they are stunning. I garage the thing at home and work, so it rarely sits out, and I'm more anal than most on the cleaning thing. The current ride (C4S Cab) is five years old next week and looks flawless...I mean really flawless, not a mark on her. Would love to find a great home for that perfection.
So GT Silver got me recently too, on a cab, with black top, I think it looks stunning.
No Speed Yellow
No White
No other Silvers
No Black Metallics
No Greens/Blues
for now....
I do have a handful of folks looking so I don't want to find folks stumbling over the same car twice. And as the pricing model looks thus far, this will NOT end up coming from a dealer...way too much markup.
So I'd love to find someone who needs to get out of the car, and has a reasonable number in mind, and has enough options on the car to make it worth the effort. Not interested in a modded car, stock only for now (other than pipes maybe).
I'm in NC, so pretty much wide open to location. I've had some folks eyeball a car or two for me already - missed one in your neighborhood by about a week.
I built a new one online and the price made me puke, so I'm not going there. But really want an '09 (likely cab, but if a coupe exists, tell me):
MUST HAVE's:
GT Silver or Black or Guards
Black interior (or nat grey if GTS)
Adaptives w/heat/crest
Locking Diff
Sport Chrono
Thicker Sport Wheel
Ceramics
Bluetooth
Leather Rear Console
NICE TO HAVE's
Logo'd bin lid (I can add later)
PCM Voice Control
Illuminated Sills
Alum/Leather Shifter/Brake
Leather Visors (I can add later)
Package A Leather
LED Pocket Lighting
Alum Footrest (I can add later)
Mats (common, but can add later)
Painted Seatbacks (can do this later too if not leather)
Lips/Rockers painted (I can do later, of course)
Beyond that, low mileage, flawless paint, flawless interior.
