My New EVOMS GT780 is back home in Canada
I picked up my car this afternoon down by the US border and drove her home. I was being somewhat gentle with her but did get her up to some 2XX speeds, *loody quickly I might add
The first thing I noticed is the power is far more agressive/violent on these modified GT3076's than the GT2860's I had before. Mid range pull is fantastic all the way to 7K where I shifted each time.
I broke traction in 3rd 4th and 5th and this is with my RA1's mind you I am down to the wear marks on the rears plus it was only 18C. There is no difference in lag between the 28's and 30's. There is no lag! My revised gearing helps with that too.
I am so happy to have her home after 8 months of being away, I missed her soooo much.
I will have a more detailed write-up once I have driven her some more. Next is the custom 3" exhaust I will be building very soon. Presently I am running cats with straight pipes. God I love the way the turbo's spool up and down, the sound is awesome
My hats off to Evolution Motorsports for upgrading me to these new custom GT3076's. Todd you are a master tuner
I am a very happy man indeed. My hats off to EVOMS. John and Joe, thanks for all the hard work.
Ian, thanks for putting up with me
Many thanks to all the crew at EVOMS!
Any GT700 owners should take a serious look at doing this upgrade, it is well worth it.
Cheers,
Ben

Ben,
Thanks for putting up with the madness, I can see the wait was definitely worth it for ya! With Texas Mile, your project, EVT850 release, Supercars Exposed and a number of other GT780+ customers all at the same time it has been madness around here! Enjoy and use your new power for good!
Cheers,
Ian
