Why do the colors suck so bad in the Porsche car configurator?

Why do the colors suck so bad in the Porsche car configurator?
How difficult can it be? They are not even close when compared to a real pic.

Very true, I have seen colors on the configurator that I love and in person they are terrible and vice versa.

I have also thought that for a long time. With today's technology and all the other cool features of the site they can't even get the colors right...So frustrating

haha... like the picture viewer on Foxnews.com... It is completely unbearable.

The 3D version doesn't work for me at all.

I've installed the plug-ins for the player and so on, and it shows the loading bar, goes through that, and then all you see is the background, but no car.

Still I can't afford a Porsche so I can live with the off-colour 2D stuff for my dreaming.
