I drove 540 miles today!
I think I might be just a little insane.
My wife went to NYC for a show tonight and I'm not working this weekend. So, I thought I'd put a few miles on the car to break it in.
I started my day by stopping by Ira to see Alfie and pick up my formal registration for the car.
Then,....I decided to drive! I played around with the cool new touch screen nav and selected Lime Rock as a target. I did a mix of highway and back road driving. Some of the towns around Lime Rock were really very pretty driving through. Then,....rather than heading how,...I decided to go to NH Motor Speedway which is the home track for my PCA chapter. Then I decided to head home. All together 540 miles in about 9 hours total drive time. Averaged 22 mpg. I've put on 920 miles since Thursday!!!!
I LOVE the way this car drives. I am just having a blast. Tomorrow I should hit 1000 miles....which to me is the break in number. Yeah it's arbitrary but it's what I used on my C4S and that car ran perfectly. I can't wait to blast past that 4200 rom wall !!!!!!
I must be crazy.
More pics.......oh yeah:
