The Red Thread: Reds, Purples and Pinks

More info, that is the only Guards Red Package Car built:
Package Exterior Color Count
Black - 9 cars
Grand Prix White - 2 cars
Metallic Paint to Sample - 2 cars
Guards Red - 1 car
Midnight Blue Metallic - 1 car
Polar Silver Metallic - 1 car
Speed Yellow- 1 car
Turns out that there's a whole website dedicated to the 964 Flachbau (flat nose): http://www.flachbau.com
The 964 Package Car was not a flatnose but is of the same series of 964 Turbo S cars. The actual build numbers were 76 Flatnose cars (worldwide) and 17 non-Flatnose or Package cars (U.S.A. only). BTW, the author of the website states that the claims of 480-508hp are not true and that the 964 package car only had 385hp.
Quite interesting, the ROW version of the 964 Flachbau had the front end of a 968 while the Japan version had the front end of a 930.
Lastly, an article from Excellence in 1994: http://www.flachbau.com/1994s/Other/...4-Article2.pdf
