@ the song on your website (Eric the Plug guy) Its hilarious
This is true, ever since the B5 A4, Audi has really become a brand to reckon with.

The R8 is a beauty and I love the A8 / S8 as well.

The V8 is comparatively a dog. Slower than a 997 Mk II (not the S, which is even faster). The V10 is the ticket. Plus, my female advisors claim that the R8 results in instantly dropped panties (not that that's any reason to buy a car, but a nice side benefit).

I dont like it, it looks like a Big Audi TT and the gear shifts on the F1 are horrible if your stuck in traffic.

I forgive you I too drooled over the R8 and no matter how much I try to hate it, i am somwhat enviable. No matter I still rather have the Turbo and it is very underpowered...until the v10. Still though I think its more a poseurs car the turbo is always gonna have that undescribable magic...haha or maybe very good marketing!

I'm not a big fan of the R8's rear end... Unless there's that big GT type wing on it.

Looks best in black. Seen a few when I have been out and about in my Turbo. Much lower and wider looking than my 911.

That GT one is AMAZING. They need to sell a homologation version...

Funny... I was really impressed the first time I saw one in person. That was some time ago. I looked at used one yesterday and thought the styling was already looking a little tired - and I am a pretty hard-core Audi-phile. Still a great car though.
