Yeah, maybe we should have kept it and just see if there are vendors that can do proper RWD conversions by now...

I really think 997 TT is the call...I may go that route myself...

Well, when the discount is a little heavier next Christmas, who knows?

We are also waiting for the housing market to bottom out, so maybe get both house and Turbo?

I have heard that Porsche tweaked the PSM in the 997 Turbo and it is not as crazy intrusive as the 996 which I could not live with. I just have not driven it hooligan style yet to see if it's a liveable version of AWD/PSM.

A cursory search on autotrader seems like they are not that cheap yet, 88K was the lowest. They do look a lot nicer than the 996 body, and since this is not a hardass car like our current GT2, a standard NAV is nice too.
