Trouble at Orton Performance?
I found this on another forum. It appears a couple of people are claiming issues with Orton Performance.

Started relationship with Neil Orton by feedback on this forum (6speedonline) and trusted him with my money, Paid in full for a SC kit he offered to sell to me for install here on a customer’s car., of course I have the customers car Since DEC 2007 and I cant make up any more excuses…
Neil comes up with a million lies and excuses when he does answer my e mails…. Like his supplier did him wrong…. He is busy…. He is at the track… I could go forever on this…
Can someone in his area or that knows him help me recover either my money or the actual kit he offered please??? I am all ready over 10 months on this and he specified when he requested the money 3 weeks max for delivery.

It appears there are two people that have complaints. The guy above goes by the name of contigo. There is another guy who goes by woodster who claims to have paid $5,000.00 and not received the goods or services.
This is what woodster had to say:
He has owed me $5000-5500 for about two years now.
He has told me many times that he has sent me, wired me, overnighted me,
mailed me checks and the only one I recd bounced and cost me about $35 fee from
my bank. Has not kept his word and has the same story every time
I call him..."Marty, just give me until this Friday (insert any day of the week it doesnt matter), and he does not follow up.

I really hope whatever is going on gets taken care of. Our members do need to be aware that something is not right either with the business or these two customers.

I believe when Neil worked for Roock USA things like this were happening. I believe at the time Neil said he didn't have anything to do with what was happening there.

If true, this would be disappointing.
Well, we've got a TS member/staff guy vetting one of the complainants, and that is not a small thing. Perhaps, as a professional service from TS to members of our community, I could stop in up there and inquire. Is anyone able to vette the other complainant?
If nothing else, it would cut through the mix and get a face to face answer.
