Boy did I torture myself over that decision. There are tons of pros' and cons. Ultimately I liked the idea of lower weight, no brake dust. I have seen replacement rotors that are cheaper and better than Porsche's. So if I do ever have to replace them, I'll go that route.
The major downside, is now everything my wife wants, she says well they cost half what my ceramics cost, or this is cheaper than your fancy brakes, etc..
