Need some advice on TT purchase
Hey Guys:
Well, I just bought my wife a Cayenne GTS (we have our first baby on the way in a few weeks) and I still have the S 63...but I am considering a 2009 TT purchase. The TT would be in addition to the GTS and S 63. It is white on black, PCCB's, manual, etc...on the boat but should be here in two weeks.
So my question is this: what is a reasonable discount to ask for in these strange economic times? What are you guys seeing out there? Obviously things are cooling down...I noticed that GT2's are starting to be listed at sticker (some are still asking 60K to 80K over!!!). I took a bath on my 03 TT when I sold it and I expect to experience some pain with the 997 TT but would like to minimize that as best I can...
Any and all advice is appreciated!!!

The market is flooded with lightly used high end vehicles...i wouldn't buy new, maybe that's just me.
If you buy right you'll have little pain to deal with - i bought right on my 997 and sold it for 3.5% less a year later (not including money spent on mods/ servicing) but i'd say that is almost a one off. My point is you'll save a lot of money on a used one - probably $20k or so and that's something i couldn't ignore.

^^I hear you...I'm really particular with options, etc...I'll take a look at the used market and see how that is doing...gotta have PCCB's...actually, I should have bought that black on black GT3 RS (Nick Cage's old car)...kick myself in the ass for that...

I am looking at $8K off on a $140K sticker and VERY favorable trade-in values (it would equate to a $12K discount if my trades were "even"). That could be a guideline - consider $10K or so.
FWIW, most of the used Turbos I've scoped out (2007-2008) are in the $120-130K range. So with a decent discount, you're right in the ballpark.

Doesnt that seem too highly spec'd ? you see it doesnt feel like its a good find, unless if it has all exclusive options, carbon interior, stitching and alacantra.
