The new Autoweek says the present engine is gone in the Turbo, GT3, & GT2. Thought it was ironic the next article was the price increase of the GT-R

It's the bulletproof engine. You can mod it to death...

Old news, been bounced around for months now. And until the 2010 turbo shows up, no one will know for sure. 2009 Turbos are getting the GT1 block. 2010 should get the new block. And yes, GT1 block is time-tested and well proven for tuners to squeeze a lot out of, but that does not mean the new block will be any less desirable for street use.

Track junkies will be clamoring for the 2009, for sure.

I saw that engine in at PCNA in early summer. I thought this would happen. On each cam deck there was two oil passages that had block off plugs in them that would look like Turbo oil feed lines, and the scavenge pump had an extra spot for oil drain backs. I think that will be a cool deal.

Easy turbo conversions for us????
