i have heard of several people getting banned from 6speed. how do you get banned from a board? anyways, can't wait to see your completed project. i have given tym the green light on my 996 turbo project as well.

Just got back in the country and spoke to Tym. First of all, i would like to thank Tym for taking my car down to Texas for me. I wanted to attend the event myself but due to a conflict with my business, i was unfortunately unable to attend. To make a long story short, we did not hit 200 mph in the mile. the best run Tym had was 194.99 mph at 1.3 bar of boost. He had some problems with the TB closing in 6th gear. But i was happy to hear that he was at 190+ mph at the 3/4 mile marker, which leads me to believe that 200+ mph is definitely achieveable. In fact, i would love to see it achieved on 93 octane pump gas in March! Tym made about 12 runs, and the car performed without any mechanical hiccups. Here is a video clip of some of the runs.
