let's hope the NBC show will do well whenever it airs. Although I wish they would just air the original version with Clarkson.

ehh i have a feeling show will get canceled after first season

 

I think there's too much interest and gearheads here for the show, so even if I wish they would just give us more of the BBC show and cancel the US one, I think the US one will be here for awhile.

 

Ive seen Corolla on tv before he is funny but to compare any host to Clarkson would be setting them up to fail people should accept that this is going to be an American version of the British hit and should do very well if not constantly compared with it think of it as somthing to complement the British show not replace it. I mean more shows that talk about cars should be a plus right? I will be very happy so long as they stick with the British theme of no bland so called economy cars.

 

I was at the taping of the pilot and I will say that I believe the US Top Gear will even have the skeptics pleased. I am a HUGE fan of the British version but I held off judgement of the US one until I saw the taping. Very funny. Very true to the original. Very entertaining. I just hope that it will appeal to people that already aren't fans of TG so that it sticks around for longer than one season.
