I read somewhere that the material is actually called something different and Alcantara is just the cream of the crop company that makes/distributes it. Is kind of like Kleenex isn't anything but a tissue but regardless people call all tissues Kleenex.

Beautiful new car Emil. I think black is the best color on the 430..and on the scud....just amazing! I alos love the Alcantara interior and light gray color. A perfect combo. Enjoy it in good health!
