How fast do these cars depreciate?

Each model will bottom out at a few thousand more than the one before it, because it wouldn't make sense for a 360 Modena and a F430 with the same mileage to be the same price.
Today, a 2001-2003 360 Modena with 20,000-30,000 miles is about $90,000. That's a 10-year-old car, so a 10-year-old F430 should be about the same, if not a little bit more expensive.

Forgive me for being so forward but I don't understand caring about depreciation for an exotic car. This assumes you're not buying it to drive the heck out of....instead as a collection piece?
There are far better collectors items that don't depreciate if thats your motives. Art, stamps, antiques...to name a few.
Cars are meant to be driven. Who cares about depreciation. Or better, why care about depreciation?

Exotics are best bought second-hand, but I think they depreciate <10% with moderate driving, but do not get below the price of a previous generation model unless it's got over 80k miles (there's a 2005 F430 for sale which has 101k miles selling for $99k).
The only car that doesn't depreciate it seems is the Nissan GT-R, lol. The first GTR's that came stateside were priced at $69.7k. Now those same cars with 40k miles are in the mid to high $60's, lol.

That seems reasonable however I think that because Ferraris and other exotica are becoming more and more technologically advanced, they'll depreciate faster because there is more tech that could break and it would become outdated even faster. The F430s and 360s that are for sale today will retain their values much better than the upcoming tech-savvy Ferraris simply because they're more plain.
