I saw this on instagram.. I follow a bunch of Kuwaitis and Emiratis, and many of them have these as pets.. didn't realise it was that common..

 

More common than anyone realizes.

We had a cheetah while I was growing up. The most loving cat ever. He used to sleep indoors. Only eat and play outside. We had a whole section of the house dedicated to him.

He passed away when I was 7 due to some complications with his health. These aren't pets that you keep in your house. They deserve to be free in the wild.

You can buy a cheetah, tiger or lion for about $8K pretty easily here. Sad, very sad.
