When it comes to paint protection film, the technology has come quite far to the point where it is nearly undetectable if installed by the right company. For us at Premier Protective Films, we have been installing protective films from 1997 and have used them all. It really is unnecessary to see a line on the hood and fenders...the film we use (ClearGuardX) is 8mils thick and comes with a durable clearcoat and is extremely clear.
