I don't like it when wheels tuck into the fenders like that. I like the wheels, but it makes the car look funny to have them tuck like that.

In Japan, "tucking" your wheels is all the rage. Riding as low as possible and wheel fitment is a huge trend and its slowly making its way over to the states. There is a car culture based around the concept called VIP and it uses sedan platforms (mostly Lexus and Infiniti) to accomplish this. My car is currently setup in this way.

I don't know if that is what Ben was going after, but it certainly reflects that trend. Looks great imo... but definitely a departure from the traditional stance of a Ferrari.

The guys here at the shop put it all the way down on the coilovers. They like low cars. It will be raised up though and I will take more pictures when it is done.

Exactly like that... in fact I believe the owner of that car is a member over at a VIP forum that I frequent. Great looking car... there definitely some show stopping Euros going after the VIP appearance.

Personally I'm not into the culture as a whole, but I do love the idea of stance and fitment being a keystone to customization. IMO, you can make just about anything look good with agressive offsets and low suspension. Kinda like the old "rat rods." Take a older car and give it its own unique look.

Sorry for the rambling. Great looking F-car Ben!

I think it looks good, but it's too low. It looks really aggressive and the color of the car matches he wheels well.
