Chrome Ferrari 458 Challenge Hits The Track
Turning a 458 Challenge into a highly successful promotional piece

Our partners at Ferrari Ft. Lauderdale brought a special treat to this years rendition of the Cavallino Classic three day event, with a blinding chrome Ferrari 458 Challenge car, looking like something straight out of the classic terminator movies. We’ll have more coverage from Cavallino in the next few days but we figured this was a good way to kick things off officially.

Under the shiny chrome wrapping is a 458 Challenge car that ran in last year’s series for the team at Ferrari FL. The liquid metal looking prancing horse was awarded the duty of pacing the official Cavallino Classic races at Palm Beach International raceway.

That is awesome! Chrome is cool when used for promotional purposes. Although, if you were driving behind that thing on the track and the sun hit it just right...you have no chance of seeing anything but glare.

 

How would someone wash that after it's gotten dirty? I'd imagine that finish (even as a wrap) would be difficult to avoid scratching.
