My old TR #71011
I have always been an advocate of actually driving my Ferrari's. The memories that are made are irreplaceable. When I bought my TR (#71011), I flew to Menomenee, MI, and drove back to AZ. It was one of the most memorable Ferrari drives I have had. I kept the TR for over 10 years, and I often wonder where she is today
I write for a Brit web site, and the full story from the trip is here. Auto-Journals / Journals / Ferrari / Testarossa / Road trip, Ferrari style
I think you guys might enjoy it. In the meantime, here are a couple of pics that I found.... One from the road in S Dakota, near Mt Rushmore, and the other, with the other 'car guy' in the family upon arrival!

There is nothing quite like a serious road trip in a 'new to you' Ferrari or exotic. So far, I have done:
MI to AZ..... TR
CA to AZ.... F40
Rochester, NY to AZ...... Mondial t cab
NYC to AZ............ Lotus Esprit turbo
I am sure there are a few others that I just don't remember!

Hey Dino,
I always enjoy the stories you tell! I remember your story very well about giving a kid a ride in the 360 CS.
One thing I don't understand is how someone could own an exotic car and never drive it. I'm sure that just like anything, it would get stale, but it seems like people would just be itching to get in that car and go for a drive every day.
