"Diamond Black Exterior"? Is that the name of the company? I need to find out who can do a gloss black in LA. I will post the pics as soon as I get it done. Car should be here next week.

I wanted to go for a glossy wrap finish on my SL55 in black, didn't turn out to look that nice (car looked like plastic) so went for matte black instead.

I don't like the matt because it looks grey and introduces another color to the exterior, but that's just me. Maybe I will do a carbon wrap. At least that will go with some interior and exterior pieces.

The problem with a carbon wrap on such a large is piece is that it just screams fake and cheap IMO.

If you don't mind the loss of value, then just paint it, can't go wrong with that and the result will look better.

You should ask Dave over at premier motor sports about this. Having witnessed his work first hand on many many many Ferrari's I have nothing but praise for him and his work. He will steer you in the right direction on whether to wrap or paint, maybe even an alternative.
