Is there a such thing as gloss black wrap? To mimick the look of oem bicolor nero look? I've always only seen matte black wrap. BTw, will the paint get damaged over the years under the wrap due to possible moisuture trap?

Thanks for the kind words guys. Its amazing how far some subtle changes can go in transforming the entire look of a vehicle.
I was originally going to post the radar/laser install in another post but, might as well throw them up here. To answer your questions, the pod is not an off the shelf piece, it was designed and fabricated completely in house by our technicians. If you will notice, the display face itself is actually completely unique to Ai Design, and will not be found anywhere else. This is also the same V1 display we use when etching into a mirror as well. Unfortunately the 458 mirror cannot be etched without losing the auto-dimming feature, thus the pod.
Key differences between our display and other displays include:
- Etching of the individual band indicator labels (K, Ka, X)
- Re-design of the signal strength meter, which was shrunken and re-configured into one continuous display.
- Re-design of the bogey counter and locator arrows, which were both shrunken allowing for a more efficient use of space.
Both V1 and Blinder controls were located into the OEM Mirror as per the customers wishes.
