My Stradale/Scuderia Inspired 458 Italia
Finally had some time to take pictures with a proper camera. A good friend of mine Rick Zundel was kind enough to bring his Stradale out for some shots as it was appropriate since the Stradale was my first Fcar dream.
The great thing about being able to build a car to your liking is what makes the car world go around.. everybody has their own taste!
My inspiration was the book cover cars for the Stradale and the Scud. I can't say red was an easy choice as I am a Grigio guy but now that I owned a red car for a few months it will be the go to color on my future Fcars... I just love and I get it... a FERRARI should be red!
I have had a lot of pm's on the color of the wheels. I got the car with the standard silver sport wheels and had them painted factory Grigio Gisha at Premier Motorsports. They are the same color as the sill and diffuser. As to all the Teamspeed requests.. the red center caps are now titanium! Thanks for the input because it does look better!
The next popular question is about it being lowered. In MY opinion... A MUST! It was done by Ferrari service and was lowered 1.5" in front and 1" in the rear. It rides as expected in race mode... stiff but not jarring. Also the suspension adjust button (bumpy) works great. The biggest benefit is the car is neutral and the factory over steer is gone.
The only non factory mod would be the tinted clear bra on the headlights... everything else is Ferrari.
After we took the pictures, Rick drove my car and judging from the BIG smile... he loved the car. Needless to say, I think its the best sports car on the road! I love it!!
