Vboxed the 458
Only tried 1 quarter mile run with a softer 3000rpm launch..
0 to 60 in 3.27
0 to 100 in 7.17
1/4. 11.29@ 126.37
I think it will go quicker.. I tried 2x. first time I launched at 2500 rpm and got 0-60 in 3.4 and 0-100 in 7.3... ( actuall display might be faster on file).. The second time I tried it I got the revs up slightly higher and it clicked off the above numbers..
Launching is slightly strange compared to what Im used to.. With my foot on the brake, I started to give it gas, but the revs raise very slowly.. I wasnt sure if it was hurting the car or not.. Ive read elsewhere and people said to launch at 4500-5k rpm, but in the manual it doesnt tell you anything.. The launch is very smooth though, no wheelspin but you can feel the car pulling power through 1st gear..
Looking at the Fieros numbers compared to my Porsche, the VW gets off the line much better with a 1.7 60ft, while the Fiero did it in 1.9... By 60mph the Porsche has a 3/10 lead, yet by 100mph the Fiero pulls back and is 2/10s ahead.. They both cross the 1/4 in 11.3 sec but the Fiero is going 3mph faster..
The Fiero also shifts itself just like the Lp560 does.. Im not sure if this is the fastest way to go or to try it in manual..
With abit more miles ( has 600 now) less gas, and a better launch id think it may be an 11.00 car around 128mph?

Also, I tried to go all the way to 130 and atleast get a 60-130 time out of it. I backed off the throttle at a speedo indicated 135 but it was actually 129.02.. So my 60-129.02 was 8.53 on a non dedicated run..
