My recollection was the manual states 621 miles for break in period
Odd number but that's what I think I saw

Car feels damn fast to me

That is not odd, 621 miles = 1000km

It may just be the races that weve done.. They are all relatively short, and in first gear the 997TT is able to put all the power down, while the 458 you can feel is pulling power in 1st as it struggles with traction. the true test will be a nice 50-150 roll on..

Just redline it when the engine is cold. That's the fastest way to break it in.
