Racing in traffic is never a good idea.

I have had my share of street races. But never on a crowded highway.

We used to hit the toll roads at 4:00 am to fool around.

YouTube - BBI Turbo vs LP640 vs Proto Turbo

One of the guys in our group had a "black box" that jammed radar for a 2-mile radius.

We always stopped if we saw any other cars.

That doesn't make it right though. It was still stupid.

Once I sat down to think about it, I realized how irresponsible it was.

I no longer street race at all anymore - under any circumstances.

It is so tempting to push these cars all the time.

But I also have a wife and three children . . .

Ahh, the delusion of thinking that even if this was true (which it almost certainly isn't), the 1/10 of a second that you react sooner makes any kind of a difference at those speeds.

Idiotic and irresponsible driving, and don't think for a moment we're buying the "I'm not condoning this, but it's OK because the driver is awesome" logic-torturing...

I don't know if my english is all that bad or if you read it as you wanted to, but I didn't say that.

Anyways... the car is not mine, i'm not the driver, don't know either the driver nor the passenger... just found the video online and cared to share, so stop buging me and live with it.

*Not trying to be rude here, just saying I have nothing to do with that*.

Seriously? Did you even care to read my posts?

Is my english really, really that hard to understand?

OP: We aren't going after you. We all understand that you have nothing to do with the video, we are just expressing our disgust for this driving style on public roads. That has nothing to do with you.

I do agree with you though that Christian's comment was uncalled for, as there are some extremely awesome racing drivers that have come out of Brazil. However, talk like that has gotten some users banned before.

Sure thing. Senna, Fittipaldi, Piquet... and let's not forget the man who beat The Stig, Barrichello. But that's not even the point here. Guy sees one f-driver douch and tags all brazilian douches? I'm brazilian. I'm a careful driver. Didn't like his comment at all. But ok. Guess if speaking my mind on a questionable comment can get me banned, I'll just go back to "just reading" mode before it happens. People are less than receptive here.
