Guy's thank you for the compliments and also your interest in this build. DJ, no this isn't Joe's new ride---Joe absolutely hates black on black, you probably heard him say it plenty of times.
Here is the stock dyno and also a video clip of the 458 in stock form:

Alright my fellow forum friends, the Ferrari 458 has been finalized and now sports Fabspeed's high performance manifolds with 200 cell sportcats, Maxflo mufflers and EVOMSit ECU Upgrade. It has been awhile since I posted information relating to this build, no excuses but I was very busy with website work and also track events (OK they are excuses!). But I am here now and I want to share information that we have gathered from this outstanding exotic:
Fabspeed Motorsports received the F458 back on the 14th of September. Right away we ran a baseline dyno test: 450HP/316 ft-lbs of torque to the rear wheels. First on the agenda was to begin the exhaust build.

We started with the manifolds as the OEM units (which are more improved over the F430/Scuderia!) still have restrictions relating to the overall diameter of the primary pipes (1.5") and an inefficient merge collector. The Fabspeed sport headers feature 1.875" primary pipes and a 4-into-1 high velocity investment cast merge collector. Power improved 34HP/38 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels @ 5900RPM while saving 13lbs/5.9kg. Our sport manifolds are a direct replacement and will bolt to the OEM catalytic converters or Fabspeed high performance 200 cell German imported sport catalytic converters.

Now that we developed sport headers that not only improved power but also saved weight, next step was to construct a set of high-flow sport catalytic converters. Fabspeed only utilizes German-imported, HJS OBD2 Level 5 Euro sport race catalytic converter cores to remain compliant with emissions and to insure that there are no Check Engine Lights. Fabspeed 200 cell sportcats are a direct replacement for the OEM, 750 CPSI catalytic converters and improve power by +32HP/21 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels @ 8000RPM while saving 11lbs/5kg. These sportcats will bolt to either the stock manifolds or Fabspeed Sport Headers and the stock muffler or Fabspeed's Maxflo Mufflers.

With the sport headers and 200 cell sportcats fabricated, Fabspeed went to work on the exhaust system. Using 2.75"/70mm tubing, the Maxflo muffler replaces the restrictive factory exhaust and eliminates the Pierburg valve so you have a full aggressive tone throughout the RPM range. The Maxflo muffler has a balance pipe that links Bank 1 and Bank 2 for improved harmonics and exhaust balancing. The Maxflo muffler will work the stock catalytic converters/stock tips or Fabspeed 200 cell sportcats and "458 Challenge" style dual-tips.

To finalize the exhaust build, we decided to rid the 458 of the customary tri-tip, and opted for a larger dual-style "458 Challenge" tip. These are 4.5"/115mm in diameter and feature a carbon fiber backsplash. Very aggressive and really differentiate your 458 from the rest! These will work with the stock mufflers or Fabspeed's Maxflo Mufflers.

Exhaust assembly complete, back on the dyno to recalibrate the ECU program with Todd Z from EVO Motorsports. Final numbers are 518HP/368 ft-lbs of torque to the wheels!!
