Question Curious question for purchasing out of state car

are all modern Ferrari (430 Scuderia, 16M, California, 599, 458) 50 state legal and complies with the sate of California's emission?

The reason I ask is that, per say, you can't find a Ferrari you want in CA but found it on another state and by California's DMV ruling, if the car has less than 7,500 miles (which most modern Ferrari are far lesser than 7,500 miles), you CANNOT register and use it in CA UNLESS it complies with its emission law. I think the sticker is found on the door (not sure fro Ferrari) or something where it states it is 50 state legal instead of 49. Can someone clarify, thanks.

I am 99.99% sure that all new cars are legal in 50 states. It would F up commerce to have 1 market for CA and another market for the other 49. So I think North American cars sink to the lowest common denominator - CA.

If it's low mileage, I think more is required besides a smog check and federal / ca emission sticker. Check dmv's site to be sure.

If it has less then 7500 miles prepare for DMV shenanigans, and less then 6 years old.

I believe all new Ferraris are 50 state legal. In fact I believe CA laws are their benchmark due to it being such a large market segment.

I think wyatth has a point as it will be absurd to sell Ferrari on two versions for US alone. and as of what I got from DMV California, if it has less than 7,500 miles but the car has the sticker where it states that it is 50 state legal, then you can register the car because anything less than 7,500 miles I believe, DMV CA considers it new and anything new with a sticker of 49 state legal, it can't be registered unless it qualifies with some exceptions which are stated on the website.
