Yes, that was a design element we were going for.
Owner doesn't really drive the car hard, but bigger brakes are going on the car soon as it is a must for that power.

Again, as you eluded to on hard acceleration the side wall on street cars with a small aspect ratio it doesn't generate enough contact patch for maximum grip as it flexes (visualize the sidewall on a drag radial). With the Cups in a 345/30 there is A LOT of grip and sidewall. Visually it's not the most appealing to some but it is functional. Keep in mind the Enzo came with 345/35's in the rear so an even BIGGER sidewall, albeit not a DOT-R tire like the Cups.
