I think the Daddy is on the left only if he's having a midlife crisis! The Daddy, shown in black, may have been red in his youth and then after being fed up with boy racers and cops harassing him,....he called Maaco and went black.
He has most likely had discussions with his son about how beautiful red is and to revel in it now,....but to make sure he always uses protection (e.g. a clear bra).
