Oil lines coming into close proximity with hot bits (headers, etc.) caused some of the fires.

 

so its just been a weeks time..and today a black Gallardo burnt in Singapore..

thats 2 supercars in 2weeks..sucks

Could they be Insurance Fraud possibly? Started by the owners that can't afford the cars anymore? That's just me the pessimist jumping in.

 

SINGAPORE : A black Lamborghini caught fire on Friday afternoon along Holland Road.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force received a call at around 2.15pm about a black Lamborghini whose engine was on fire.

However, when firefighters arrived, the fire was already put out by passers-by, who had used dry powder extinguishers.

No one was injured.

Been there, with a Ferrari 308 a couple of years ago. Flames at least that high. I was out in the country driving on some winding roads. The all-volunteer fire department took at least 30-45 minutes to get there. I just sat on the side of the road and watched it burn to the ground. No fun.
