430 as a semi-daily driver???

430 owners...can this car be driven as a semi-daily driver?

A few times per week without issue?

I'm considering one but want to know about reliability, etc. Anyone drive theirs regularly?

Regularly for me would be defined as 10 times per month or so - 40-100 miles each outing plus 10 times from NYC to the Hamptons during the summer season.

There is this restaurant by my house with a 430 spider parked in front of it almost everyday. I am not sure if the owner owns the restaurant or the club next to it (Or both). But I see him zipping around town all the time in it. I've seen it in the rain, cold 30 degree days and all the time when the weather is nice. The car still looks stunning.

I am not sure if this helps but it might make you feel better about driving daily.

Green, SG is a good bud of mine in NYC and I would recommend your car in a heart beat but he is strictly a silver or grey metallic kinda guy.

Could easily be a dd.

I'm already bored of the R8 and looking for a 6spd spider or scud to dd.

I would say it shouldn't give you any problems as a semi daily driver or as a fully fledged daily driver for that matter. I have taken mine to about 12 trackdays and the only thing I've had to change is tires and pads (thank god). What I would definately recommend if you are thinking of using it as a semi daily driver is to put a clear protection wrap on it as it does tend to get stone chipped quite easily. I work in construction, otherwise I would love the chance to drive mine everyday.

Extremely good for Daily's. I know of at least 3 in our area with 15k miles a year on them no problem. I've seen one 430 spider that had 43k miles on it in 2 years. I put at least 5k miles on all of mine per year
