Has Anyone put aftermarket exhaust tips on their F430??

Hey guys, I'm thinking of changing the exhaust tips on my car to something a little cleaner like a simple stainless steel tip like the pictures shown below and not like the shape the tubi tips come in.

My question is, is there anyone that has installed JUST the tips purely for aesthetics?? I do not want to change the sound of the car in any way. I just want to change the tips. Based on the youtube vids I can't tell if the sound is different or not. Also based on the pic with the tips exposed with the piping including the butterfly valves?? Am I making any sense here?? Would really appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this matter.

Plus based on these pics (I think they're fabspeed if I'm not mistaken?) can anyone recommend other companies that have this similar cut/design of exhaust tip? Cheers.

Just get a Tubi. When I changed mine there was no other way but to change the exhaust but maybe that has changed over the last few years. BTW the Tubi with no regulators sounds awesome.

I am not really sure but i think you should be able to just change the tips. I don't see why you couldn't and i also don't see why you couldn't do it without changing the stock exhaust note.

The thing is I love the way the car sounds as stock. I just wanna change the tips. Judging by the way the fabspeed tips look from the pic above, they include the valves, and based on the youtube vidz, they do sound a bit different IMO.

In terms of exhaust systems, the reason why I don't want an exhaust system is

a. because the two best sounding ferraris are the f355, and the stradale, and I can't get my car to sound like either lol.

b. because of the systems I have heard so far, I prefer a higher pitch sound and therefore like the capristo and kreisseg systems based on sound.

Does anyone know if fabspeed or capristo will just sell you the tips without the valves?

I am thinking to paint the stock tips to matt black since my car is black with red top...
How easy is to open the exhaust tips?
can i just open the exit alone? the 4 tips coming out from the bumper?

^^^^ If you are talking about f430 stock tips I'm assuming, it is pretty easy to remove. You need to obviously remove the rear bumper, and then unscrew the tips from the valves section. The dealer can do this very easily and you can powdercoat them to black if you wish. SMS powdercoated my truck's exhaust tip and mashallah it looks great and they did a nice job on it.

On another note. I have a set of fabspeed tips with valves that I am considering selling. IMHO they did not sit perfectly angled as they should and thats why I took them off to put the OEMs back on. I basically need to take the exhaust tips to a steel fab shop and bend it to align it how it should properly look like or was intended to look like, but to be honest I don't have the time. If interested let me know, they are the same as the fabspeed tips pic in my first post on this thread. Good luck and let me know if you need any help!

I am assuming you know that you can get just the exhaust tip covers, that come in Chrome and Black.

Try Exotica or Ricambi Exotica Motorsports Stores - Exotica Motorsports Exhaust Tips - Ferrari F430

I bought both Ricambi and Exotica tips and the Exotica have a nicer look to them because they have the inset screw internal as opposed to external like you will find on the Ricambi tips.

Anyway if you really are talking cosmetic, these are the way to go.
