This has been bugging me for quite a long time now: Why do some 458s seem to have a small gap between the hood and the bumper? Some looked flushed though

Here's a comparison in the same Rosso finish:

The 2nd pic has a gap that looks like someone popped the hood and forgot to shut it properly

the second one seems to be modded...so id assume they fawked around with something leading to a fail looking hood

It's a Ferrari...they're full of flaws. I could point out all the ones I found on mine. That's the nature of a car that's partially if not mostly hand built.
